your 45 minute flight to the island of Kadavu, you will be met at the airport
and transferred by boat for a 10 minute scenic ride. The resort is tucked
in under the tropical forest.
Matana Resort accommodates 24 guests in traditional thatched bures that
are surrounded by lush gardens, each spacious bure offers you room to stretch
out with all the modern comforts of home.
The Main house, which has a fully stocked bar, has the feeling of someone's home. Why?? Because the resort owner's Robert and Rena Forster, live on-site which guarantees that everything runs smoothly day in and day out.

Soft corals come alive on the reefs in an explosion of pink, yellow and red. There are numerous buoyed sites as Blue Tang, Evil Trench and Yellow wall on the famous Namalatta Reefs which are just 15 minutes by boat away.
The waters of Fiji have a kaleidoscope of brightly colored fishes including clowns and lion fish. And for the snorkeler you can enjoy great snorkeling right off your bure just steps away..
A visit to Fiji is not complete without experiencing
a village school and a Fijian meke (song and dance of Fiji) and a lovo featuring
all the local fares of traditional dishes in Fiji.
